Samsung is planning to bring the Samsung Pay and the Samsung Pass app under one roof called the Samsung Wallet app. The company has already started rolling out the Samsung Wallet app in its home country and now the users in the United States will also be getting this app. The company is expected to roll out this new app in different regions very soon.

The Samsung Wallet app allows the users to add their membership, gift cards and payments along with the digital keys, identity cards, health passes, boarding passes and also digital assets such as the blockchain wallets. Select BMW and Hyundai car users that own vehicles purchased from these two brands after 2020 will be able to use the digital automotive key function very soon.

The company will add the support for student identity cards and driver’s license after some time. This new update will take some time to reach all the Samsung users across the globe as it is being introduced region by region.

Samsung reportedly announced that they will be merging the Samsung pass and Samsung Pay app together and a new app named Samsung Wallet will be rolled out. According to the source, the company has already started the roll out of this new app in South Korea and the users in the United States will also be getting it in the coming days.
