Project consists of two apartment buildings; Belle I is a 24 units three story building and Belle II is a 28 units three story building. Both buildings will be wood framed, with asphalt shingles sloped roof, metal siding and brick veneer accents. Work includes new utilities, parking lots and all mechanical and electrical work pertinent to the buildings. TYPE OF BIDS. Single combined Bids will be received from qualified Bidders for all portions of the work. The successful Bidder will be the single Prime Contractor for the Project. THE OWNER. TURTLE MOUNTAIN TRIBAL EMPLOYMENT RIGHTS ORDINANCE (TERO). The successful bidder must comply with local TERO requirements. INDIAN PREFERENCE WILL APPLY. This project is subject to Indian preference, but bids are invited from non-Indian as well as qualified Indian-owned economic enterprises or organizations. Indian enterprises or Indian organizations must prequalify for Indian preference by first submitting evidence of Indian ownership and control to the owner no later than 3 days prior to bid opening. Specific details of the information to be submitted and preference criteria are set forth in the TERO Policy. BID SECURITY. Bid Security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the Bid including all add alternates, must accompany each Bid in accord with 00 1000 - Instructions to Bidders. Cash, Bidders Bond, cashier’s checks or certified checks will be accepted. NORTH DAKOTA LAW.
